Empowering Teacher Leader Module 7: Current Issues

This is a class for all teachers who want to learn more about the issues and trends of the day. National, state, and local issues and their impact on teaching will be explored. Topics may include ESSA, licensure, RE program, current legislation impacting education, and Ohio Teaching Standards. As professionals, it is our responsibility to raise our awareness about the educational realm. Ways/opportunities to get involved in SWEA, Central, OEA and NEA or simply advocate for your profession is discussed.

South-Western EA is offering this free professional development to all Central members. Class is from 4:30pm-7:00pm at the Central Crossing High School 4500 Big Run South Rd, Grove City, OH 43123.
