2024 Treasurers' Workshops

We have set the times and dates for the Central Treasurers' Workshops for 2024. You may choose to attend either or both.

Attending a treasurers workshop is a requirement to qualify for the OEA fiscal fitness award. We also recommend that Newer Local Presidents and Local Membership Chairs attend the New Treasurers' Workshop

The Central Treasurers workshop(s) will be VIRTUAL via Zoom

6/10/24 - New Treasurers' Workshop 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Our traditional annual offering of training for Local Treasurers with limited experience

6/10/24 - Experienced Treasurers' Workshop - 10:45 a.m. - Noon
Our traditional annual offering of training for Local Treasurers with experience

To register:
Login to your Central account (or create one if you don't have one)
Scroll down to the training session you wish to attend and click “going"
Wait a moment for your selection to register. That's it.

We’ll send Zoom information a few days prior to the training.

Office Use Request

Central is pleased to allow our Local Associations to use our office space for Association business when scheduling allows. Before making a request, please consult our master calendar. Unfortunately, we cannot host on dates we have Central events, even if they are away from the office. You can view our calendars here.

Conditions of use

If your meeting is during a time when Central staff are not available, you must be able to pick up the key shortly before your meeting.
The office must be left in the condition you found it. You are expected to complete the end-of-meeting checklist, which can be downloaded here.

Please use this online office request form if you wish to request the use of the Central office. Please note this form must be completed and submitted before any request will be considered.

Write a president’s welcome letter for members returning back to school

Ensure all membership enrollment materials have been received

Notify OEA field office to report any local officer or leader changes

Conduct fundraising drive for FCPE

Send Election Notice to All Members

Attend Bargaining Boot Camps

Dues Transmittal Agreement signed & mailed to OEA - 9/30
